Rosemary essential oil verbenone


Rosemary is one of verbenone chemotypes of the species Rosmarinus officinalis encountered in wild populations rosemary particularly in Corsica and nurtured easily.

Its essential oil mainly composed of 1,8-cineole and verbénone is particularly recommended in case of bronchial affections (mucolytic).

Indication

  • Distilled part: flowered branching
  • Chemotype: bornyl acetate, borneol, verbénone
  • Extraction: to water vapor
  • Origin: South Africa

Use

  • In herbal tea: 1-2 drops of essential oil in a little honey, all diluted in warm infusion.
  • In your diet: a few drops and sometimes only one, subtly enough to flavor a salad, a dish of meat or fish, dessert.
